Ruckus2Owner, J.R. Kuchta, has been a trainer and coach since 2007 when he left a corporate finance career to pursue his passion for fitness.  He cashed out his 401K, opened a personal training facility and hasn’t looked back.  After years experimenting with various training programs for his clients, he stumbled upon a CrossFit workout in 2010 (Filthy Fifty) and was instantly hooked.

Even though he owned his own training facility, J.R. would drive 25 minutes across town just to CrossFit at one of the only affiliates in the city. From that moment forward, J.R. knew he wanted to ditch his previous training methods and start coaching CrossFit, so he began planning a way to open his own affiliate.

He received his CrossFit Level 1 Trainer certificate in September of 2011 and launched his affiliate at a new location in March of 2012 with just a handful of clients. A year of growth later and Solution 1 CrossFit had to move again to the bigger location it now calls home. J.R. continues to share his passion for CrossFit and coaches every workout with enthusiasm and positivity.

In addition to his Level 1 Trainer Certificate, J.R. has earned the distinction of Certified Personal Trainer through the International Sport Sciences Assoc. and is a USA Weightlifting Level 1 Sports Performance Coach.  He is also personally mentored by the legendary Olympic Weightlifting Coach Istvan Javorek.  This gives him a unique advantage in developing his coaching for the Olympic Lifts.

 – Bianca Williams – CrossFit Trainer, CF-L1

Bianca Williams has been CrossFitting for well over 6 years!  Currently she is a top level CrossFit competitor in her age division (55-59) and is extremely motivating and inspiring.  She is living proof that age is only a number as she is in the best shape of her life at 55 years old.

Her background also includes running multiple Ironman Triathlons and she has coached and won multiple State Championships in Cross Country at Maranatha Academy in Shawnee.  And guess what methods she used to train her athletes?  Yep, CrossFit!  Also, her coaching efforts are so admired that the city of Shawnee actually declared February 16th Bianca Williams Day!

Cory SnatchingI love watching people succeed.  Nothing is more gratifying that watching someone reap the benefits of their hard work when you witness them putting in the effort day by day.

Not only does CrossFit build strength and endurance, it builds character, integrity, and confidence with everything you do in life!  I come from a minor fitness background running cross-country and a little bit of baseball in high school, meaning that EVERYONE INCLUDING YOU can succeed in CrossFit and weightlifting.  My favorite motto(s)…. Effort = Respect. Be Humble.

Preston Williams has coached athletes in many different forms. Preston has been a cross country coach for seven years, including three years as a distance track coach and a former USA triathlon coach. He has also coached swimming for six years, including three years high school and two years as a USA coach. Preston has taught group fitness and yoga classes for the YMCA for over 4 years and now as a Level 1 CrossFit Coach, he combines ALL these experiences to help you with get in amazing shape.

Zac has been interested in athletics as long as he can remember and quickly became infatuated with the training and diet behind it. In fact, he enjoys watching athletes train almost as much as the competitions themselves.

He never turns down an opportunity to test his own physical fitness, but he is just as concerned about his mobility, nutrition, and long term health. His broad and inclusive view on fitness will mean constantly varied workouts and nutrition coaching that will give you the best results possible.

Zac holds the Certified Personal Trainer designation from the National Academy of Sports Medicine and graduated from the University of Kansas with a degree in Sport and Fitness Management, with a minor in business. Zac’s upbeat training style and fun personality will ensure that you have a great time while getting in great shape.
